Version, calls and warranty

This is the EU version of the Samsung Galaxy A18: the same phone sold in that region, in English, with Google Play and Samsung updates, factory unlocked for any UK SIM.

Calls on Three: Three, SMARTY and iD Mobile carry calls only over 4G (VoLTE). This EU-version unit normally gets UK carrier settings, but VoLTE support is decided by each network. On EE, O2 and Vodafone (and networks that use them) data and texts work; if VoLTE isn't active, calls use 2G instead, which UK networks plan to switch off around 2029–2030. Warranty: as an EU-version unit, it gets up to 12 months with Samsung UK. We also handle any fault under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
